I picked up Gibbs! 30 seconds in the car and he laid down. Very excited to hang out with this bud.

I want to find the drag coefficient of a greyhound.

Say, if there’s any of that snout you’re not using, can you spare some for a lady in need?

I used to live near a greyhound track. There was an adoption site at the track for the dogs. Many folks around had one. One girl had 2. She used to take them to a baseball field, lock the gates and read a book for an hour while the dogs ran like maniacs.

Greyhounds are nice doges. A lot less excitable than my 2 year old lab, my god

My Lab is 6 and still has his moments. Stepmom came by the house for a few minutes yesterday and he went absolutely bonkers. Jumping, then laying down and rolling over, then jumping again, then sitting.

My dad and stepmom have a Lab-greyhound mix. He’s quite an interesting dog.

You would think this information would b readily accessible via Google, however my 4.5 seconds of skimming the first page of results yielded nothing. Good luck.

Greyhounds are the shit. I’ve thought of adopting one myself.

Handsome buddy! Is he a rescue? My hairdresser’s family (she just has her own studio in the basement of their house) has a greyhound creatively named ‘Clipper’ and he’s hilarious! He’s a pretty well-behaved pup, but as he was a racing dog from a very young age, his social mannerisms with people are all very odd :P
No bad behavior, no jumping up or anything like that, and he listens to commands VERY well (he’s very well-behaved, in that regard!), but he stomps his feet in weird ways and makes odd noises and the like...a sweetheart of a dog though! If I had the ability to take one in and I wasn’t gone all the time, they would be at the top of my list! :)

I had a neighbor with a greyhound.. thought they were cool dogs, then saw one light it up at full speed across this field and I was
blown away
by fast and graceful it was....

OOH HAPPY PUPPY

Yep! He's great so far. The only thing we need to work through is if he gets hugged from below he will make a grunt and jump. I think we can get it out of him though

Nice, I’ve wanted a greyhound for a while now but we’ve already got 3 cats so not going to add any more animals to the menagerie.

My parents have 3 dogs and 3 cats so this will be #7 until I go back to college
